Improvement of the road network Tavronitis – Kantanos – Palaiochora, subproject 15 Kantanos Palaiochora part B and bridge at kilometric posititons 10+250

Α unified road part of the road Kantanos- Paleochora was initially constructed with a total length of 2.850,00m and an additional road part of the same roadway with a total length of 250,00m

The construction of three major bridges is included in the above mentioned road way:

1. (T1) bridge with three continuous spans with a total length of 110,00m
2. (T2) bridge with one continuous spans with a total length of 40,00m
3. (T3) bridges with three continuous spans with a total length of 90,00m.

The construction of a fourth bridge is also included in the above mentioned roadway (T4) with a total length of 64,00m.

The road was constructed with a total width of 10m of road surface which consists of two traffic lanes one for each direction with a width of 4,00m in straight line and two shoulders paved with asphalt 1,00m wide. The road surface of the above big bridges was constructed with a total width of 12,00m that includes a roadway 9,00m for traffic circulation and pavements 2x1,50m wide.
